Lunatics Co is an automotive performance and parts company founded by enthusiasts with a simple goal: make it easier for fellow enthusiasts to find the right parts, trusted brands, and support for their builds.
Where It All Started
Lunatics Co was founded by Cornelius Tan and Daniel Ho, two friends who met during their sophomore year of high school. What started as a friendship quickly grew around a shared passion for cars, automotive culture, and everything that comes with being an enthusiast.
From the beginning, we shared a particular appreciation for Lexus and Toyota vehicles. We were drawn to the platforms, the community surrounding them, and the endless possibilities that came with modifying, driving, and making these cars our own.
Like many enthusiasts, we did not start with unlimited budgets, professional shops, or all the answers. We learned by working on our own cars, researching parts, making mistakes, talking with other enthusiasts, and figuring things out one step at a time.
That experience became an important part of what Lunatics Co would eventually become.
From a Passion for Cars to Lunatics Co
As our passion for automotive culture grew, so did our interest in drifting and performance driving. We began documenting our experiences, sharing videos, and showing the evolution of our Lexus IS300 as we learned more about building and driving the car.
Along the way, we experienced many of the same challenges other enthusiasts face. Finding the right parts was not always straightforward. Understanding fitment could be confusing. Comparing different brands often meant spending hours researching forums, videos, product listings, and other builds.
We realized there was an opportunity to create something we wished we had when we were getting started.
That idea became Lunatics Co.
We wanted to build an automotive company created by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. A place where someone could find quality parts for their build while also having access to people who understand why they are building the car in the first place.
