If you're planning to perform a 5-speed swap on your IS300 LHD chassis, you'll need the following components:

General Fitment and Installation:

  • The IS300 has a factory mounting location that has been utilized for this setup.
  • It includes a new clutch master cylinder sourced from a Toyota Celica ('90-'93) with a 5/8" bore, which is compatible with most factory slave cylinders.
  • The use of Toyota's location and fitment ensures clearance of the brake booster in the engine bay and positions the clutch pedal nicely in the cabin under the dash to avoid interference with electronics.
  • It's important to note that not all chassis have the necessary mounting holes for this setup, so most auto conversions will require drilling the firewall to accommodate the bolts and slave cylinder.

Master Cylinders:

  • The standard master cylinder included in the kit features a 5/8" bore. This size is most common for use with external slave cylinders, as found on many Toyota, Nissan, and BMW transmissions.
  • An alternative option is a 3/4" bore master cylinder, which is commonly used with concentric slave cylinders, particularly those associated with CD009 HR, T-56, TR-6060, and some concentric conversion setups.

Pedal Pads:

  • The included pedals come with a standard powder-coated finish.
  • An optional rubber pad is available, fitting nicely if you prefer a more OEM look.

Construction and Hardware:

  • The primary bracket is constructed from 1/8" steel, providing durability and stability.
  • The hanging pedal arm is made from 1/4" steel and features a 12mm pivot.
  • All necessary bolting hardware for the clutch mount and master cylinder hookups is provided with the kit.
  • You will need to separately obtain the correct clutch line for your specific transmission. Braided stainless steel clutch lines are available for purchase.
