Cross Members for Manual Transmission Swaps

Xcessive Manufacturing's all-new cross members are thoughtfully designed to provide a seamless and direct bolt-in solution for cars that have undergone a manual transmission swap. We've incorporated additional slotting to ensure easy alignment and fitment compatibility with popular transmissions such as the R154, W58, and the XM swap TR-6060.

Built to Last:

These cross members are constructed from robust 1/4" laser-cut steel, meticulously formed, and plated. With this level of craftsmanship, you won't have to worry about the longevity of this cross member. Its solid, one-piece design is free from welds or segmented pieces that may weaken or deteriorate over time.

Transmission Mount Compatibility:

It's important to note that Toyota offers two different rubber transmission mounts, each with distinct stud patterns. Xcessive Manufacturing's cross member is tailored to fit the later style common to MK4 Supra, SC300, and similar models, as well as many imported motors. For compatibility, the mount must have a bolt spacing of 2.57" (65mm) side to side.

For vehicles with the early style mount featuring a smaller mounting pattern, which is typical for the MK3 Supra generation, an adapter mount is available separately (part number T-UTM-S5).

Choose the Right Transmission Mount:

  • If you have a late model transmission and prefer a urethane transmission mount, we recommend Xcessive Manufacturing's Toyota Series 2 mount (T-UTM-S2).
  • For early model manual transmissions, Xcessive Manufacturing's hybrid mount (T-UTM-S5) is the suitable choice.

Please Note:

Newer transmissions equipped with a Tri Pod shifter at the back feature a different location for the transmission mount and may not be directly compatible with Xcessive Manufacturing's cross member.

Urethane transmission mount is not included with the cross member.
